This week we’ve got Jimmy, Kris, & Eddie of THE BE SHARPS! Also in the house, we’ve got their road handler, Atom “with a T”. Welcome the boys back with moving tales of action, adventure, & intrigue! After one shit-storm after another, the boys are still strivin’ & survivin”! You may have heard that THE BE SHARPS’s king-of-the-road-mobile has groaned & coughed until it had a mild stroke. Hell, I’m sure their hearts of gold has lead to encounters with mysterious drifters & feral serial killer hitchhikers! Please help them if you can. “First incident of the tour! 2 hours before show time”

Tour journal 1: “Not even to the first venue and we have a flat. I love tour already.”

“Day one… flat tire two hours out, no spare, no tire iron, no jack. POURING RAIN. walked for about two hours till pawn shops and a tire shop appeared, hitched back and the new jack we bought didn’t work, it was to short. flagged some one down and on the way to the show….. late and wet.”

DAY 2, July 27th:

The day started off with a lil’ rumble o’ trouble….

“So this just in… either the power converter can’t power the rice cooker, or the cooker broke in the trailer or van? not sure the light comes on but no heat. So that’s 3 cups of rice and four hotdogs wasted for our make shift red beans and rice. sucks..”

“Broken down again! Looks really bad this time. Hope it don’t cancel the rest of the tour.”

Tour journal 2: “Partied last night. Woke up super early to drive to Louisiana. Been chilling in the van for 6 hours. Then the wheel well decided to bend. Now we’re on the side of the road again an hour away from the venue.”

“Anyone want to donate money to help out with the tour?”

DAY 3, July 28th:

Tour journal 4: “Went to someone’s apartment last night. Ate good food, went swimming, and slept on a couch. Overall, good night. Woke up, loaded up, and now we’re at a shop getting the van fixed …Gonna be a good day.”

“Day 3 of tour. Still go baton rouge. Some mechanic friends we meet last night checked out the van. All is good and about to hit the road. Next stop panama city!”

….& then …

…”So we missed the Panama City exit by 2 hours. On our way to Tallahassee less then an hour away. Guess that will save us about 3 hours on the road tomorrow.”

Tour journal 5: “So we passed where we were supposed to sleep. By more than an hour. So were just keep on trucking to the next stop. Been stuck in the van for more than for 6 hours. Every electronic device (except my phone) is dead. Bummed that I don’t get any night beach tonight but oh well.”
